Here is a list of tried and tested FOSS apps that you can use in place of OEM apps.

For this list you need to:

  1. To get sync working, self-host your own Nextcloud, and use apps listed below for syncing contacts, fileshare, calendar, notes, tasks, etc.

  2. Install these App Stores:

  1. Use the listed apps below to replace OEM Googled apps.

  2. Install DAVx5 and use it to sync Nextcloud contacts, calendar, etc. with you phone.

To reduce Google’s data collection on non DeGoogled phone, remove or disable the currently installed apps that came with your phone, and then install, set up, and use a corresponding app from the list below.
