Nothing weighs heavier on the journey than carrying the failures of others disguised as friendships. Ambition will always sound like arrogance to the ears of those who have conquered nothing but excuses and defeats.
Sooner or later, every man will sit down to a banquet of consequences served by his own choices. His main course will either be pride or regret.
Never be ashamed of being ambitious and of knowing the cruel reality of the world. The weak never conquer anything. If you are naïve, harmless, and ignorant, the world will devour you alive.
There are moments to be prudent. There are occasions to be ambitious. Fortune favors the bold, but greed devours the reckless.
There is a constituency of people completely unrepresented & unspoken for in Ireland today. Their existence is tenuous and fraught with uncertainty. They live on the edges, and garner little attention. They cannot sound their voices, raise their hands, or cast a vote. Few know about them, let alone give them more than a seconds thought. And yet, there is a community coalescing in Ireland who want to not only acknowledge them, but be their champions.
