Anonymity is Essential for Free Speech.
If anonymity is an option on the Internet, people will be able to better exercise their freedom of speech without the sword hanging over their head of the government trying to arrest them. It is the responsibility of the Police to have the capability to make arrests if people are misusing the anonymity to scam other people. The incapability of Law Enforcement to keep up with technology is no excuse to suppress the freedoms of the individuals who constitute the democracy.
