The Value-for-Value Paradox: Why We’re All Hypocrites About Zaps

We treat zaps differently than every other purchase, hoarding sats for “future value” while freely spending on coffee and Netflix. If content is worth $1 to you right now, zap the equivalent in today’s sats and stop doing mental gymnastics about what they might be worth later. Value-for-value means paying for value in the present, not extracting free content while pretending you’re being strategic.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
