Can Bitcoin become “The Air We Breathe”?

Last week, I was reading “The Air We Breathe”, by Glen Scrivener. It’s about “How We All Came to Believe in Freedom, Kindness, Progress, and Equality”. It’s all around us, but we don’t really know where it came from. But in essence, it was Christianity. As I was reading this, I saw so many parallels with Bitcoin, so wanted to list them below and share some of my thoughts. Can Bitcoin also become “The Air We Breathe”? How can Bitcoin go from counterculture to dominant culture? And in the first place: from Cult to Culture?

I Love Your Hate

Most of us now believe that war/perpetual conflict is the natural state of the world. And they would be partially right. We do live in a fallen world. But the universe isn't loveless. It is human. Only humans are capable of perceiving it as anything other than a dog eat dog creation. Dogs eat dogs. Humans CHOOSE not to eat humans. I CHOOSE to love you. Especially if you choose to hate me.
