I’m happy to announce a new release of Habla.

When I started revamping the client, I choose Read, Highlight, Write, Bookmark, Earn as the tagline but you could only read and zap. This release includes a full featured editor.

The Editor

I’ve implemented a clean, minimalistic WYSIYG editor for Habla that includes:

• Local drafts
• Undo & Redo
• Rich text formatting
• Blossom image uploads

Write the content without distractions and when you are ready to share it with the world open the menu and click Publish. You’ll be able to add a cover image, summary and choose the relays you want to publish to.

I encourage you to try it and report issues if you find them!

What is missing

I still need to implement proper handling of nostr mentions of pubkeys and events. After making sure the basics are solid and squash the bugs we find I’ll be working on:

• @ autocompletion for mentioning users
• rich embedding of nostr events with relay controls
