LNbits is a multi-account Lightning wallet system. One instance, many users each with their own wallets, extensions, and settings. That’s what makes it powerful for communities, merchants, and node runners hosting for others.

When a user has a problem, you need to see it yourself.

It also means that when someone has a problem, it’s their account, not yours. “It’s not working” doesn’t tell you much. Neither does a screenshot of the wrong screen.

Until now, helping a user meant asking them to guide you step by step through the issue - or worse, asking for their credentials, which should never happen.

Alternatively, you had to dig through logs yourself, which can be difficult if you’re not particularly technical.

With LNbits v1.5.0, admins can open any user account directly from the admin panel. You see what they see. You fix it. You leave. Your own session is waiting for you exactly as you left it.

No credentials, No screenshare needed.

If you’re running LNbits for other people, this is probably the most useful thing in this release.
