Textbrush - a local image generation UI
generate images offline
If you have 64 gigs of RAM, and want to generate good quality images from a prompt, this may be for you.
Textbrush wraps the FLUX.1 [schnell] model in a convenient UI and let’s you create an arbitrary amount of images from a single prompt to select from.
Speed depends on image size and takes between 3 and 30 seconds on MacBook Pro 4 Max with 128GB RAM. For me, that beats high-end models in terms of UX. More control, more choice, faster iteration. Good enough for content on nostr.
This project is part of my self-imposed one-project-a-week challenge.
If my assumptions about AI development are correct, pace and/or quality should increase over the course of this year.
