Intermediate baking skills needed or not… Be sure to use a mixer to mix ingredients together. Dough gets pretty sticky, be sure to use flour for dusting

Ingredients

  • 1 Packet of Yeast
  • 1/4 cup Warm Water
  • 1/2 cup Milk (whole/skim/half/evaporated)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 stick (1/4cup) Butter
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 1/2 - 4 cups - All Purpose Flour
  • Oil for Frying (Olive/Avacado/Vegetable/Ghee)

Directions

  1. Mix 1 Packet of Yeast & 1/4 cup Warm Water in a small bowl,
  2. Cover & let sit for 5-10 mins
  3. Use a Hook attachment & Mixer for best results,
  4. In mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup Milk, 2 eggs, 1/2 stick Butter, 1/3 cup Sugar, 1 tsp Salt, & 3 1/2 - 4 cups All Purpose Flour.
  5. Mix for 10 - 20 mins , dough should not stick to the side of the bowl, but stick a little at the bottom.
  6. Cover, & let it double in size for 45 mins - 1 hour .
  7. Dust rolling area with flour & roll out the dough to 1/2inch thickness
  8. Lay out parchment paper on a surface to put donut shapes on,
  9. Cut out donut shapes as desired, (If there is more dough, roll out again & repeat)
  10. Cover donut shapes & let rest for 1 hour.
  11. Medium Low; Heat up oil to fry donuts!
  12. Enjoy!
