No Imposed VM

Great question. The embedded smart contracts layer is designed to support multiple VM/runtimes.

For example someone wants to integrate EVM (I’m not a fan and don’t recommend it) in order to support Solidity smart contracts.

Others can integrate a WASM runtime for smart contracts (I recommend this) like Polkadot/Cosmos.

We didn’t want to impose a specific VM/runtime, the community should embrace a de-facto for smart contracts (hopefully WebAssembly).
