Pro-government says October pension payments will roll out by category before a promised December increase
Serbia’s Republican Pension and Disability Insurance Fund has published the timetable for October pension payments, with transfers and cash collections beginning in early November. The schedule sets different dates according to pension category and payment method.

On November 3, beneficiaries in the self-employed category will begin receiving their pensions, regardless of whether they use bank accounts, post offices or home delivery. Military and agricultural pensioners are next, with payments starting on November 5 through the same channels.

Employed pensioners will receive their payments last. Those collecting pensions at post offices or through home delivery will begin receiving them on November 9, while payments into bank accounts will start on November 10. The amounts will remain unchanged from the previous payment, which covered September pensions.

Alongside the payment calendar, pro-government reporting has pointed to a planned 7.5% pension increase from December 1. Based on an average pension of 56,813 dinars in August, the increase would raise the average payment to about 61,074 dinars—an increase of approximately 4,261 dinars per month.

The same report said pensions had previously risen by 12.2% from December 1, 2025, and that total increases between December 2024 and December 2025 reached 24.4%. The payment schedule addresses when October benefits will arrive; the proposed December adjustment concerns the longer-term value of monthly pensions.
