ALTA Bank License Revoked as Bankruptcy and Insured Deposit Payouts Begin
Serbia’s National Bank revoked ALTA Bank’s operating license after its financial condition deteriorated. Bankruptcy proceedings are expected, with insured deposits of up to €50,000 per depositor to be paid through the Deposit Insurance Agency.
