Bitcoin Nears €70,000 as Market Fear Eases but Investors Remain Cautious
Bitcoin moved closer to the €70,000 mark on Binance on the latest trading day, gaining 1.52% to €69,640.43 by 3:15 p.m. local time, according to market data cited by Telegraf Biznis and Tanjug.
The advance came alongside slightly stronger activity. Bitcoin trading volume over the previous 24 hours reached €25.13 billion, a modest increase from the day before. The market’s Fear and Greed Index also improved, rising to 34 from 26.
That improvement points to easing anxiety, but the index remained firmly in the “fear” category. The figures therefore suggest a limited recovery rather than a decisive shift in market mood.
Other major cryptocurrencies also recorded mixed results during the same period. Ethereum rose 1.61% to €2,060.42, while Binance Coin gained 0.68% to €622.87. Avalanche increased 1.16% to €7.72, and Telegram-linked Gram climbed 2.18% to €1.04. Solana, by contrast, slipped 0.11% to €82.57.
Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana were the most actively traded assets, while LSK, FLNCB and 1000CAT posted the largest gains, the report said. The broader picture was mixed: prices and volume edged upward, but sentiment remained cautious and no broad-based surge was evident.
