Mycelium Finance: reading the live map
Mycelium Finance: reading the live map
Mycelium Finance describes a Solana liquidity strategy that connects ecosystem projects through trading pools. MYC is its core token; ESF is its separate staking token. The project describes pairing assets with partner tokens so liquidity providers can earn swap fees in proportion to their pool shares. Its live map makes those connections inspectable. A snapshot of the three required free MCP tools shows concentrated, partly resolved liquidity, substantial token locks, and uneven partner-token price changes. Those observations frame the next questions about ownership and cash flows.
How this snapshot was obtained
I called get_mycelium_allocation, get_mycelium_distribution and get_solana_top_performers with empty arguments at 20:55:11 UTC on 10 October 2026. The allocation and performer responses were updated during that minute; distribution was last updated at 20:52:35 UTC. These are different cache times, so the article should be read as a closely timed snapshot. The exact raw responses and retrieval receipts are linked below. No paid snapshot was used.
Where the visible liquidity sits
Allocation reports $35,337.81 across ten projects and twelve resolved pools. KNOTS accounts for $7,419.78, or 21.00%; PRCL follows with $5,159.15, or 14.60%. Together they represent 35.60% of the reported total. The feed explicitly sets partial=true, which limits coverage even though every returned pool is marked resolved.
The pool labels reveal another important distinction: $11,362.51, or 32.15%, belongs to MYC-labelled pairs; $23,975.30, or 67.85%, belongs to ESF-labelled pairs. These amounts are reported whole-pool USD liquidity. The responses do not establish how much of each position the strategy owns. Likewise, the $119.19 ESF/USDC pool is a trading-pool valuation; treating it as a treasury cash balance would overstate what was measured.

What the supply categories mean
Distribution uses the original one-billion-MYC minted supply as its percentage denominator. It reports 551,045,000 MYC, or 55.10%, in locked token supply; 144,842,294 MYC, or 14.48%, in locked LP liquidity; and 236,007,535 MYC, or 23.60%, in unlocked LP liquidity. Token time locks and locked liquidity positions are separate mechanisms and should be assessed separately.
The residual trading/holder category is 6.67%; burned supply is 0.14%. The five categories reconcile to the original mint, while excluding burned tokens reconciles to current supply. The image presents the same denominator. The feed alone does not establish lock expiry, control of rebalancing keys, or which party can ultimately collect fees.
Reading the performance panel carefully
The performer response contains seven ordinary entries and nine pinned partner entries. Among the pinned partners, KNOTS is up 32.64% over seven days, while KINS is down 23.74%; eight of the nine partners show negative changes. MYC itself is absent. These are token price changes, which cannot establish the strategy’s realized return or LP fee income. The separate pinned set also needs care when interpreting the advertised market-cap screen or ranks.
What would strengthen the evidence
The useful next evidence would connect pool discovery to position ownership, quantify collected fees, identify fee recipients and document lock schedules and rebalancing controls. Tracking the partial flag and cache times would make successive observations comparable. The current snapshot is valuable for mapping liquidity and reported supply categories; its missing ownership and cash-flow fields limit conclusions about benefits to MYC holders. This is a research observation, not an investment recommendation.
