Why We need Zap for Nostr.? Why No one care Zap except Bitcoin Cash or Any others

Have you heard About Zap.?
Nah, You don’t. let me tell ya’

So what is a Zap, really?

A Zap is just a Nostr note that carries a payment.

When you Zap someone, you’re sending BCH + an optional message. The message and the payment travel together through relays.

Think of it like putting cash in a thank-you card and mailing it.

Why Bitcoin Cash and not just any crypto?

Nostr doesn’t care what coin you use. But BCH fits perfectly because:

  1. Fees are tiny: You can send 10 cents and it still arrives

  2. It’s fast: Confirms in seconds, not minutes

  3. No permission needed: Anyone can send/receive without a bank

That’s why BCHNostr built zaps around BCH first.

How does it work under the hood?

  1. You click “Zap” on a post

  2. Your wallet creates a BCH transaction to the author’s address

  3. At the same time, your client publishes a “Zap receipt” note to relays

  4. Everyone can see “User A zapped User B 500 bits with message: great thread!”

No middleman takes a cut. The protocol just proves it happened.

The bottom line

Social media + money should be as open as email.

Zaps on BCHNostr make that real. You don’t ask permission to speak. You also don’t ask permission to pay.
