Super happy to announce the long overdue relaunch of Bitcoiner.Guide

Why the relaunch?

Since leaving my fiat job late 2021 to work full time in Bitcoin @Foundation, the site has not received as much of of my attention as I’d like. This was for a few reasons:

1. I became a Father
2. Working at a Bitcoin startup is BUSY!
3. The way I’d hacked the site together originally was pretty messy and made updates more difficult that they needed to be
4. The previous point also made it difficult for others to contribute

In my role Foundation I get to do Bitcoin education, in one form or another, every single day. It’s literally my dream job! But I also have knowledge in other areas and topics that are not directly related to everything we do at Foundation, that I want to share with others.

Aside from making things easier for me to manage, the new layout and features are also designed to keep me accountable for producing more regular educational content, hopefully with input from all of you too!

So, what’s new?

• Updated theme to make navigation easier (which also includes a much needed search feature!)
• Addition of new Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced user journeys. These pages contain a curated list of content for those that don’t know where to start.
• Addition of a new Vote page where you can help decide on the next project or topic to be covered. This is built using a self-hosted BTCPay crowdfund instance.
• Addition of contribution guidelines to make it easier for you to get involved, no matter how technical you are!
• Addition of Nostr based encrypted DM feature for those burning questions (no Nostr account required) H/T to the awesome @PABLOF7z for building the tool leveraged for this!
• Everything is now managed under a single GitHub repo, with the exception of the Seed Tool.

Hope you all like, please do get involved by creating issues or PRs for things you’d like adding or updating. Alternatively, just vote on the next topic you want to see covered!
