Nuclear Regulatory Commission — The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to amend its regulations on foreign ownership, control, or domination (FOCD) of utilization facilities to comply with section 301 of the Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy Act of 2024. The statute has designated certain exceptions from the FOCD provision set forth in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
