Ingredients
- 2 (15 oz) cans white beans (cannellini or butter beans), drained but not rinsed
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven: Position rack in top third of oven and preheat broiler to high.
- Combine: In a 2 1/2-quart oven-safe baking dish or cast-iron skillet, combine drained beans and marinara sauce.
- Top with cheese: Spread mozzarella cheese evenly over the bean mixture.
- Broil: Place under broiler for 2-4 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown in spots.
- Serve: Remove from oven and serve hot with crusty bread, garlic bread, or over toast.
