2026-04-13 Entry 2 - Journal changes
What started as an attempt at an effortless writing habit ended after just two entries. Still, it left a few useful insights.
In my last post, I considered keeping two versions of this journal: one public, one private. The public version was meant to be the focus, but my rule — write and publish on the same day — became too much friction. The habit didn’t last.
The offline journal, in contrast, continued in a messy, hectic way — far from the daily practice I imagined — but it worked. It gave me a space to reflect without pressure. Journaling is experimentation. There’s no failure here — only data, and every result is feedback.
The takeaway is clear. The offline practice will continue as it has over the past year. Alongside it, I’ll aim to publish on NOSTR at least once a month — even if building an audience at that pace is unlikely.
The long-term purpose remains: to clear my mind enough to see and walk the path of meaningful creation, and eventually regain financial freedom. From there, more meaningful work can follow. I suspect many on NOSTR share a similar inclination — toward experimentation, value creation, and self-driven growth.
This journey, messy as it is, reminds me why I started: curiosity, self-honesty, and the hope that consistent reflection — no matter how imperfect — can guide me toward a life aligned with my goals.
