Send Side Protection as the Standard
Branta originated to ensure that everyone knew exactly where their Bitcoin was going prior to sending. Branta solves the issue of the multiple attack vectors possible before sending, catches any user mistakes, and provides industry-wide peace of mind for anyone transacting across crypto rails. The original product was on the receive side, where users can confirm the address they see on their screen is associated with the recipient they desired to send to.
Now, Branta is proud to announce additional wallets that have integrated Branta on the send-side: The Arkade Wallet and ZapCooking Wallets.
Arkade is Ark Lab’s flagship product, which is a programmable execution layer on the Ark Protocol that enables instant, off-chain transactions with support for stablecoin issuance and settlement directly on the Bitcoin network. ArkLabs raised $5.2M in a seed round led by Tether and is led by an experienced Bitcoin protocol engineer team.
ZapCooking is a Nostr-native recipe and food culture platform where recipes are published and shared. The app uses Breez for Lightning payments, which allows creators to zap each other.
How It Works
Branta on the send-side lets users scan an invoice and instantly see the company name and logo they are paying. This gives users peace of mind and trust in where their money is going, without leaving their wallet application.
When a user scans an invoice, the recipient company name and logo instantly populate, a first of its kind functionality.

Branta maintains the highest level of privacy; zero knowledge is the standard. No personally identifiable information is needed for the wallets to operate using Branta integration. Branta can never move money.
