Small code. Big weird.
soyLI /ˌsɔɪ.ɛlˈaɪ/ — “soy-el-eye.” A play on CLI.
Ever wanted to have a quick vibe and publish it for others to try, without strings attached?
Suffering from AI psychosis but don’t know where to channel it?
Got a visual idea you’ve always wanted to try, but it’s “too cringe” to attach your name to?
Ever wanted feedback on a prototype you’ve built?
napplet.soy is the place for you.

A playground for your ideas
napplet.soy is a showcase and runtime for #napplets: games, apps and visual experiments you can discover, play and make your own.
It supports existing NAPs and selected proposals, enabling features such as multiplayer games, shared scoreboards, file imports and exports, and more.
Meet soyLI: the command line for the agentic age
soyLI is an opinionated command-line companion built around @npub1...q99rx s napplet ecosystem.
It extends the existing boilerplate with skills, practical guidance and tools that help you and your AI agent handle the fiddly bits:
- Presentation: screenshots and preview videos.
- Version control: Git history, remixes and proposed changes.
- Publishing: getting your work out into the world.
It also provides ready-to-use Git hosting and Blossom storage, so you can get started without setting up your own infrastructure. Prefer another provider? Configure your own destinations.
One command to get started
curl -fsSL https://napplet.soy/install.sh | sh -s -- new my-napplet
Build something, then publish it:
soyli publish
No website account is needed to create, remix or contribute. soyLI helps you set up the Nostr identity used to sign your work.
Your idea can become someone else’s starting point
The kicker: publishing through soyLI shares your source code and Git history alongside the playable napplet, including any project brief and development instructions you’ve committed.
Other developers and their agents can understand your idea, build on it, publish a remix, or propose changes back to you with a playable version to review.
Someone plays your game. They have an idea. They make it happen. You try their version and decide whether to bring the change into yours.
Clone → vibe → publish → enjoy.
Open source, open protocols
Underneath, it’s ordinary Git and open protocols:
- Nostr for discovery and signed events.
- GRASP for Git hosting.
- Blossom for storage.
- @npub1...33jdm for backends, matchmaking and score boards.
- Napplets for portable apps.
Players can comment, like and support creators with Lightning zaps.
napplet.soy and soyLI are MIT-licensed.
Come build something wonderfully unnecessary.
