Back to School 2026 — Mission Accomplished ❤️

The 2nd edition of our Back to School campaign is officially completed.

And honestly, it went beyond what we expected.

Last year, during our first edition, we were able to support 22 children with school supplies.

This year, we wanted to do more.

Our initial goal was to support 50 children, with a fundraising target of $1,250.

We started the campaign with 990,005 sats (~$633) already available.

Then, an anonymous Hope Builder sent 1,000,000 sats (~$633) to the campaign.

With that contribution, we officially reached our fundraising goal.

From that moment, it was time to turn those sats into something real.

From sats to school supplies

We went to the market, purchased the supplies and prepared for the first distribution.

We were initially expecting around 30 children that day.

But more children started arriving.

And more. Image

By the end of the day, 84 children had received school supplies.

That was far beyond what we had planned.

Out of those 84 children:

🎒 54 children received school bags along with school supplies.

📚 30 other children received school supplies based on what was still available.

Not every child received the exact same items, because we had limited stock.

But we did our best to make sure that every child who came received something useful for the school year.Image

And honestly, seeing those children leave with their supplies was one of the most beautiful moments of this campaign.

What happened to the second distribution?

We initially planned a second distribution at Bon Arbre Orphanage on August 29.

But after the first distribution, our available school-supply stock was completely exhausted.

We had planned for 50 children.

We ended up reaching 84 children in one distribution.

Because there were no more supplies available, the second distribution has been officially cancelled.

It wasn’t what we originally planned.

But we’re grateful for what happened.

Sometimes, the reality in front of you changes the plan.

And this time, the need was bigger than we expected.

Thank you, Hope Builders

This campaign would not have happened without you.

To the anonymous Hope Builder who sent 1,000,000 sats.

To everyone who contributed before that.

To everyone who Zapped, reposted, shared the campaign, commented, encouraged us or simply followed the journey.

Thank you.

You may not have been physically present during the distribution, but your support was there.

We saw it in the school bags.

We saw it in the notebooks.

We saw it in the pens and pencils.

And most importantly, we saw it in the smiles of the children.

This is what your sats became

Sometimes, when you send sats, it’s just a number on a screen.

But this campaign reminded us that those numbers can become something tangible.

A school bag.

A notebook.

A pen.

A child getting ready for a new school year.

That’s what makes this worth doing.

We know that a few school supplies won’t solve every problem a child or family faces.

But if we can remove one small obstacle and make the beginning of the school year a little easier for a child, then we believe it’s worth it.Image

ImageWe started with a goal.

The community helped us reach it.

And the reality allowed us to go even further.

50 planned.
84 reached.

And this is not the end

This campaign is now completed, but the mission of Hope With Bitcoin continues.

There are still children who need support.

There are still families struggling.

And there are still many ways for us to use Bitcoin to create a little bit of hope where it is needed.

For now, we simply want to say:

Thank you for being part of this.

Thank you for trusting us.

Thank you for helping us turn sats into something that children could actually hold in their hands. ImageImage

From Africa to the world. 🌍

Let’s keep building hope, one child at a time. 🫂
