Bitcoin Mastermind 2026

Three Days of Learning, Collaboration, and New Opportunities for Hope With Bitcoin
Bitcoin Mastermind 2026

From July 3 to July 5, 2026, Hope With Bitcoin had the privilege of participating in the 5th edition of Bitcoin Mastermind, held at Golden Tulip Le Diplomate in Cotonou, Benin.

Recognized as one of the largest annual gatherings of the French-speaking Bitcoin ecosystem in Africa, Bitcoin Mastermind brought together developers, students, entrepreneurs, educators, investors, open-source contributors, community leaders, policymakers, and Bitcoin enthusiasts from more than 10 countries.

For three days, participants exchanged ideas around Bitcoin, the technology that powers it, its opportunities, its current challenges, and the innovative solutions being built on top of the Bitcoin network.

For Us, attending Bitcoin Mastermind was much more than simply participating in a conference. It was an investment in our mission. Every presentation, workshop, conversation, and relationship built during these three days will strengthen our ability to educate communities and use Bitcoin as a tool for hope, financial empowerment, and humanitarian impact throughout Benin.

What is Bitcoin Mastermind?

Bitcoin Mastermind is one of Africa’s leading Bitcoin conferences dedicated to education, technical innovation, entrepreneurship, and community building.

Rather than focusing on short-term price speculation, the conference explores how Bitcoin can empower individuals, strengthen financial sovereignty, accelerate entrepreneurship, improve digital infrastructure, and create real opportunities across Africa.

The 2026 edition was structured around three major themes:

⚙️ Bitcoin Dev Day

🎤 Conference Day

🎉 Celebration Day

Across the three days, participants attended more than 40 presentations, workshops, and panel discussions, delivered by experienced Bitcoin builders from across Africa.

What Hope With Bitcoin Learned

Bitcoin Mastermind reinforced something we have always believed:

Bitcoin is ultimately about people.

Throughout the event, we learned from experienced educators, developers, entrepreneurs, researchers, open-source contributors, and community builders who are actively expanding Bitcoin adoption across Africa.

The discussions explored education, community building, Lightning payments, self-custody, entrepreneurship, open-source development, artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, and practical Bitcoin adoption.

These lessons will directly improve our educational activities, community outreach, and humanitarian initiatives.

We return home with new knowledge, practical strategies, stronger relationships, and even greater motivation to continue expanding Bitcoin education throughout Benin.

Building Relationships That Create Impact

One of the greatest values of Bitcoin Mastermind wasn’t only the presentations.

It was the people.

Throughout the three days, the Hope With Bitcoin team connected with remarkable Bitcoin educators, developers, entrepreneurs, builders, open-source contributors, and community leaders from across Africa and beyond.

Many of these were people we had previously followed through X, Nostr, LinkedIn, podcasts, and online communities. Meeting them in person allowed us to exchange ideas, discuss future collaborations, and strengthen relationships that will continue long after the conference.

These conversations reminded us that one of Bitcoin’s greatest strengths is its global community. Image

A Meaningful Gift for Hope With Bitcoin

One of the most memorable moments of Bitcoin Mastermind 2026 was meeting NZONDA FOTSING, author of the children’s educational book Bitcoin Kids.

During our conversation, we shared Hope With Bitcoin’s mission of introducing Bitcoin to children and vulnerable communities through education.

Inspired by our work and our vision, Nzonda generously donated 20 copies of Bitcoin for Kids to Hope With Bitcoin.

This generous contribution will become an essential educational resource for our upcoming Bitcoin education programs, helping children discover Bitcoin through engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

We sincerely thank Nzonda Fotsing for his generosity, his encouragement, and his commitment to educating the next generation of Bitcoiners.

This moment perfectly illustrates why participating in Bitcoin conferences matters.

Beyond the presentations and workshops, these events create real opportunities, meaningful partnerships, and tangible impact that continues long after the conference ends.

Everything we learned and every connection we made during Bitcoin Mastermind 2026 will strengthen the future of Hope With Bitcoin.

Our mission remains the same:

To educate more people about Bitcoin.

To empower communities through financial knowledge.

To support vulnerable people using Bitcoin.

To inspire the next generation of Bitcoiners in Benin.

The knowledge gained during these three days will now be transformed into educational workshops, community outreach, humanitarian initiatives, and new collaborations that benefit the people we serve.

Every conference attended is another step toward building a stronger Bitcoin future for our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Bitcoin Mastermind organizing team, every speaker, volunteer, sponsor, partner, and participant who contributed to making this fifth edition an incredible success.

Bitcoin Mastermind 2026 demonstrated that Africa is not simply adopting Bitcoin.

Africa is actively helping build the future of Bitcoin.

Hope With Bitcoin is proud to be part of this growing movement, and we look forward to applying everything we learned to create even greater impact in the communities we serve.

See you at the next Bitcoin Mastermind. ⚡🧡
