Today, we are grateful to share the outcome of a mission that became possible because of the generosity of the Bitcoin community.

On July 15, 2026, a young woman suffering from genital condyloma (HPV genital warts) was introduced to Hope With Bitcoin.

Her condition required immediate medical attention. Unfortunately, her parents did not have the financial means to pay for the consultations, medical examinations, laboratory tests, or treatment she desperately needed.

After discussing the situation, we decided to share her story with our community on Nostr and ask for support.

Once again, the Bitcoin community reminded us why Hope With Bitcoin exists.

In just a few days, our community came together and raised 2,104,660 sats, making this mission possible.

Those funds were collected with one objective: to provide this young woman with proper medical care and to continue supporting her until she fully recovers.

As we announced from the beginning, any remaining funds after the completion of her treatment will be reserved to finance future humanitarian actions carried out by Hope With Bitcoin.

§Our First Visit to the Hospital

On July 17, 2026, the young woman, her mother, and a representative of Hope With Bitcoin traveled together to Saint Luc Hospital, located in the heart of Cotonou. ( POW )

On the morning of July 17, we arrived at Saint Luc Hospital with the young woman and her mother. Like any family facing uncertainty, they were understandably anxious. Together, we walked from one department to another, completing each step of the medical process. Watching her finally receive the care she had been waiting for reminded us why Hope With Bitcoin exists. This mission was no longer just about raising sats it had become about restoring hope to someone who needed it most.

After arriving at the hospital, she met with a gynecologist, who carefully examined her.

The doctor confirmed that she was indeed suffering from genital condyloma.

Before beginning any treatment, the doctor wanted to make sure there was no pregnancy.

She therefore prescribed an ultrasound examination.

We immediately went to the imaging department to carry out the examination.

The ultrasound showed that she was not pregnant.

However, the doctor noticed some findings that required additional confirmation.

To remove any doubt, she requested a β-hCG blood test.

The blood sample was taken that same day, and the results became available the following day.

Thankfully, the laboratory confirmed that she was not pregnant.

With this confirmation, the doctor was finally able to begin her treatment.

§Beginning the Treatment

After all examinations had been completed and the results reviewed, the doctor was finally able to begin the treatment plan.

The first was an oral medication.

The second was a topical solution to be applied directly to the infected areas.

While talking with the young woman, the doctor asked another important question:

“Do you know your blood type? Do you know your hemoglobin electrophoresis?”

She quietly answered no.

This immediately caught our attention.

These are important medical records that everyone should know.

Without hesitation, Hope With Bitcoin decided to also cover the cost of these laboratory tests.

These analyses were completed on July 18, 2026.

Afterward, we went directly to the pharmacy to purchase every medication prescribed by the doctor.

Today, we can confidently say that this young woman has officially received the first stage of the medical care that she had been unable to afford just a few days earlier.

A few days earlier, medical treatment seemed completely out of reach for her family. Today, because of the generosity of this community, she has begun her journey toward recovery. Moments like these remind us that every satoshi donated represents more than financial support it represents compassion, dignity, and hope.

§The Journey Is Not Over

Medical treatment does not end after one consultation.

The doctor scheduled a follow-up appointment for July 30, 2026.

On that day, she will evaluate how the infection is responding to treatment and determine whether additional care will be necessary.

We have already added this appointment to our calendar.

Hope With Bitcoin remains committed to accompanying her throughout this journey until she has completely recovered.

Because for us, helping someone does not stop after paying a hospital bill.

We stay.

We follow up.

We continue walking alongside the people we serve.
