Some thoughts while reading The Intellectual Life.

Your path to develop your intelligence will have some enemies. Here are 7 of them.

  1. Uncontrolled Desire πŸ†: Thinking too much about sex, pornography, masturbation, and physical pleasure weakens your body, mind, and focus.

  2. Pride πŸͺž: Excessive pride prevents seeing one’s own mistakes. It keeps you stuck in your opinions and constantly seeking approval.

  3. Envy 🟒: Envy stops you from recognizing and learning from others.

  4. Irritation πŸ”΄: Rejecting criticism due to irritation prevents learning from mistakes.

  5. Laziness πŸ¦₯: Not wanting to make an effort to learn or think hinders growth. Wanting something for nothing.

  6. Closed Mind πŸšͺ: Being closed to new ideas limits growth.

  7. Fear of Failure 😱: Avoiding challenges due to fear of making mistakes stops growth.

If these enemies are not controlled, they can greatly limit learning and intellectual growth.

Study about them and work to overcome them. Improve every day.
