AI and privacy lead a seventeen-item Wednesday

Seventeen releases landed across four beats with no unifying theme. AI projects accounted for seven: llama.cpp added per-conversation working directories with a picker UI, llm CLI 0.32 refactored prompt and tool representation, HelixML improved chat UX and routing, whisper.cpp synced ggml, Room Connect Ecr added point-cloud generation for 3DGS init, and ElevenLabs MCP bumped to 0.12.2. OpenAI published an incident post-mortem on third-party cyber evaluations. Privacy work dominated the remainder: Arti 2.5.1 shipped, Signal Android added tablet linking, Mullvad VPN released a desktop beta, Bitwarden Web updated policies UI and passkey deletion flows, Element X iOS rendered gallery items in replies, and Invidious patched a container-build regression. Bitcoin saw Krux 26.08.0 replace pure-Python UR with a C module for faster QR decoding, Ledger Live Mobile 4.14.0, and Bitcoin Safe 2.1.2 UI fixes. Self-hosting contributed n8n 2.34.0.
