Tails emergency patch, eight AI releases, six privacy updates
A single security patch anchors the day: Tails 7.10.1 ships as an emergency fix for Linux kernel and expat CVEs. The rest of the sheet is maintenance plumbing across AI and privacy. AI released eight items, all infrastructure tooling: llama.cpp changed compute graph ordering, LocalAI hit 4.8.0, Cline 4.1.5 added free-model promotion notices, Mistral Vibe 2.24.0 introduced admin config layers, Qwen Code Live Host 0.1.0 and Kimi Code 0.33.0 shipped initial versions, and Elevenlabs Android 0.12.0 added media audio stream options. Privacy saw six more releases alongside Tails, including uBlock Origin 1.73.0, Nym Binaries 2026.15-bydgoszcz, a GrapheneOS build tag, Signal Desktop 8.23.0-beta.1, Proton Pass CLI 2.2.5, and Element Web 1.12.25 removing MSC support. Bitcoin produced one release candidate: Taproot Assets 0.8.1-rc3.
