Quiet Friday: one Knots patch, four routine updates
A slow day on the wire. Bitcoin Knots shipped a security patch with bug fixes and safeguards. The remaining four releases were maintenance: BitBoxApp bundled new firmware, llama.cpp onboarded AMD ROCm CI, Stirling-PDF fixed merge and automate bugs, and Kimi Code pushed a minor increment. No protocol work, no model releases, no CVEs beyond the Knots patch. The beat split was two Bitcoin, two AI, one self-hosting.
Bitcoin
- Bitcoin Knots 29.4. Security patch with bug fixes and extra safeguards; operators should upgrade.
- BitBoxApp 4.51.4. We will verify the signature of the.
Self-hosting
- Stirling-PDF 2.14.3. Fixes merge, split, and automate bugs on Debian 12 and Fedora 44; self-hosters should upgrade.
AI
- llama.cpp b10293. Adds AMD ROCm CI support for gfx1151; no functional change for most users.
- Kimi Code 0.34.0. 2646 3c75a27 Thanks @liruifengv !
