My mum loved flowers. Her ashes will be buried in a garden, which is poetic and wonderful. Every time I see a flower, I have to think of my mum. âShe would like that one,â is what I say to myself. âShe wouldâve liked that one,â is what it will turn into, given some time.
I was with her when she took her last breath. âI love you,â is what I said. Last moment. Last movement. One last breath. She saw my daughter the day before, and she smiled. It was her last smile.
We live our lives as if they wouldnât end; as if there was no last breath, no last smile, no last anything. But there is, and thatâs what makes everything precious. Every interaction, every word, every breath, every goodbye, every smile.
There is a last everything. But for as long as we are, there will be flowers.
I saw a flower today. âShe wouldâve liked that one,â is what I thought. And after some time, it will transform again. âShe is that one.â

Weâve been chasing private messaging on Nostr for years. NIP-04. NIP-17. NIP-29. Our own Universes. Marmot. Every one taught us something, none of them was the whole answer.
Now it is. Encrypted communities, no company in the middle, and we run our entire team on it.
Itâs built on the Concord Protocol by the Vector team, @JSKitty and @YuurinBee, who pivoted from Marmot to their own protocol.
@Alex Gleason worked with them on v2, and we ran with it.
A tip of the hat to Flotilla @hodlbod for leading the NIP-29 charge, too.
I wrote the whole messy, honest story, including the dead ends.

People on social media will try to convince you to care about stupid shit that doesnât matter. To give your scarce time and attention to the Current Thing du jour.
THIS is what you should care about. This is what really matters. Family is everything.
Feeling very grateful.

HAPPY 35TH BIRTHDAY âIâm Too Sexyâ.
When we first recorded âIâm Too Sexyâ every record label rejected it. We couldnât get it signed, one label said it would never sell because the song starts with a vocal, and many of the execs never bothered to listen it.
Then, âIâm Too Sexyâ landed on Simon Bateâs desk on his Radio 1 Breakfast Show and also the Gary Crowley show on the BBC, it just went mental, the song was being picked up everywhere .
It was an instant hit becoming #1 across the world including the US (Billboard Hot 100) making it the first debut single since The Beatles to achieve that chart position. âIâm Too Sexyâ has reached the #1 spot in the US on the Billboard 100 four times now due to the re-works by Taylor Swift, Drake and BeyoncĂŠ.

GM Nostr Most of society has manipulating people into buying stuff they donât need with money they donât have.
The internet has been ruined by ads and bots. One of the reasons I love Nostr!!! :purple:
§Nostr was not growing, and it has had a recession for the last week.
According to https://github.com/aljazceru/awesome-nostr, there are over 240 Nostr clients and over 500 Nostr apps running in more than 40 countries around the globe now.
Nostrâs Value4Value (V4V) model is all about plebs directly rewarding creators for the value they receive, no middlemen fees, no ads, just pure community-driven support using sats via the Bitcoin Lightning Network.

đĽ Iâve had the honor of watching âHummingbird: The Bitcoin Jungle Storyâ doco, before most people. I loved it.
When people experience hardship but choose to build out of their breakdowns, rather than hate or fight, it resonates. When they do it simply, humbly, connected to nature, it amplifies that resonance.
Iâve been planning my visit to Costa Rica for a while. After watching the film, I canât wait for that experience.
đĽ The doco explores the origins of an organic farmerâs market in Uvita, Costa Rica, weaving together themes of trust, spirituality, and an ancient myth known as the prophecy of the eagle and the condor. By diving into the profound impact of colonialism in Central America, the film examines how institutions like the IMF and World Bank have shaped the region over time, illuminating how Bitcoin has arisen within the community as a natural response to a systemic problem. @aa55a...98935 https://blossom.primal.net/2c9a86ccd2127644b854a1a9f65b8228818e694efc275b5c673dbb3bdf17de54.mp4
