Nostr Doctor is a diagnostic tool that helps Nostr users find and fix common account issues. By entering a pubkey and signing in if needed, it guides users through solutions for problems like dead relays, large follow lists, oversized profile images, NIP-05 mismatches, and poor indexer coverage.
2. Flora - New Tool
Flora is a Chrome extension for quick screen recording and sharing. Recordings are stored on Blossom servers you choose and can be published directly to Nostr, enabling simple, decentralized sharing without accounts or centralized platforms.

3. Amber - v4.1.3
Amber is a Nostr event signer for Android that securely signs events for Nostr apps without exposing private keys. This release improves relay management, updates default profile relays, and enhances request handling with a bottom-sheet interface and clearer “Sign as” information. It also adds relay-based client auth permissions, improves notifications and UI elements, and fixes several crashes and connection issues to make signing more reliable. This was the latest, and there were also two more releases last week. (v4.1.3-pre4, v4.1.3-pre3)

4. Mostro - v0.16.5
Mostro is a production-ready, censorship-resistant, non-custodial Lightning Network peer-to-peer exchange built on Nostr. This latest release focuses on refactoring dependency injection with AppContext, removing outdated encryption/password paths, adding a –decrypt-db CLI command for migrations, expanding unit and mutation tests, and general improvements to make the platform more maintainable and secure. There was another release of v0.16.4 also last week.

5. Notedeck - v0.8.0-rc2
Notedeck is a modern, multiplatform Nostr client built with Rust. This pre-release introduces a Nostr-based auto-update system with SHA256 verification, real-time note stats, profile “View As User” mode, giftwrap support (NIP-59), clipboard image pasting, and NIP-11 relay limitations support, along with multiple bug fixes to improve stability and cross-platform usability. This was the latest, and there was also one more pre-release of the week. (v0.8.0-rc1)

Aegis is a simple, cross-platform Nostr signer supporting multiple connection methods. This release adds remote sign-in via QR code, introduces optional full/selective authorization for apps, displays native language names in settings, and fixes session timing, scan UI, and scan logic issues.

7. Oxchat - v1.5.5
0xchat is a secure, open-source chat app built on the Nostr protocol. This release improves image and voice uploads on Windows and Linux, introduces multi-level relay and profile picture fallbacks, fixes account-switch crashes, adds one-tap cache clearing, sets FileDrop as the default file server, limits voice messages to 3 minutes, integrates the 0xchat-core code, and adds Docker support for Linux.

8. Comet - alpha-dad9e24
Comet is a note-taking app for Nostr. The latest update adds replaceable gift wraps with HMAC’d d-tags to allow relays to update notes without accumulating edits and automatically re-pushes all existing notes when a user changes identity, gracefully skipping undecryptable events from the previous key. There were some more multiple releases also last week.

9. Nymchat - v3.47.169
Nymchat is a lightweight, ephemeral chat client built on the Nostr protocol, bridged with Bitchat for anonymous, temporary messaging. This release adds LibreTranslate-powered translation, recommends followings in new messages, and routes media, translation, and URL unfurling through a proxy for improved performance and privacy. This was the most feature-rich release, and there were also a lot more releases last week.

Mostro Mobile Client is a secure, modern mobile client for the Mostro peer-to-peer Bitcoin trading platform. The v1.2.1 release introduces a QR scanner for NWC wallet import, multimedia rendering in dispute chats, auto-closing dispute UIs, support for HalCash payments, French translation, enhanced notification tap handling, shared key encryption for dispute chats, and several UI and workflow improvements, alongside 11 bug fixes to improve stability and usability.

Vector Messenger is a free, open-source, decentralized, and censorship-resistant chat platform that requires no KYC, blocks metadata tracking, and never shows ads. This release adds image spoilers, rich link previews, mentions and pings, emoji shortcodes, group muting, tap-to-react, music metadata support, cancelable uploads, and failed message recovery. 12. Wisp - v0.6.0-beta
Wisp is a minimal, high-performance Android client for the Nostr protocol. This release adds a relay health browser, default DM relay support with private zaps, NIP-23 long-form article reading, npub read-only login, custom colorschemes, and draft-saving in the compose screen, while also fixing feed scroll preservation, wallet display issues, video playback via Tor, and other stability improvements. This was the biggest, and there were also multiple more releases last week.

1. Nosflare - 7.9.38
Nosflare is a serverless Nostr relay designed for Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database, enabling lightweight and scalable relay deployments. This release includes a hotfix that resolves an issue where kind 1059 events were being dropped due to NIP-42 authentication handling, improving relay reliability. This was the latest, and there were also multiple more releases last week. (7.9.37, 7.9.36, 7.9.35, 7.9.34)
