AI, creativity and a morning walk!
This morning I did a longer walk, making it all the way up into the woods!
A landmark stone
My earliest memories of this spot and stone are now more than half a century back in time. And now I’m walking around up there doing short videos and some final thinking around AI…
Random guy on frozen pontoon bridge
Had to wave him by as always, not sure if he realized he’d be the main component of the image!
I did my first intense years of learning photography around here four decades ago.
How will photography do now? How do I make it relevant for myself when everything can be conjured up using an app?
Well part of that is to prove regularly that I can create things like this, with minimal effort. Which is why I have worked hard on getting this format right, short texts, very rapid edits, all based on creative work on the spot.
Twig & droplets
I did some videos on AI mixed in with this, I guess I’ll just publish anything and everything I do here on Nostr for a while. Its the right crowd of unruly, smart people who will probably get it :-)
Is not any skill we have worked hard to aquire important when AI is taking over?
In my opinion defiance is important, especially when actually using it…
All these years I’ve been quite aware that focusing on the tool yields bad results, its chronic with photography.
And now we have to make sure that we use AI as a tool only, without becoming a tool…
That’s it for now!
