Fruits Are Your Friends

Whole fruits provide sugar in a natural package, lymphatic flow, and deep cellular nourishment. By choosing nature's original design, you fuel your body with the synergistic nutrients it truly recognizes and thrives on.
Fruits Are Your Friends

From my daily practice:

A dear client recently shared her concerns with me. She loves eating fruit but wonders if the sugar in it is “too much”, especially given all the warnings about age-related diabetes. Wouldn’t it be better to just take a vitamin C capsule instead?

I’ve heard this concern before, and I completely understand it. In a world where sugar is heavily stigmatized, and even smoothies and juices are often demonized, while supplements are marketed as a “smarter alternative” to real food.

“Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.”

This sentence is actually part of the official Food Information Regulation (LMIV).

The sugar in fruit is not the problem. Quite the opposite! Fruit sugar is not the same as isolated sugar. Fruit contains sugar, but it’s never isolated. Whole fresh fruits is a complex of:

  • Vitamins
  • Minerals
  • Phytonutrients (secondary plant compounds)
  • Healthy fats and proteins
  • Fiber etc.

This complete nutrient matrix allows the body to metabolize the sugar slowly and efficiently. Fiber slows down absorption, prevents blood sugar spikes, keeps you satisfied, and delivers pure vitality!
And honestly, your body naturally tells you when you’ve had enough. Very few people can eat five apples in a row. At some point, your body signals “that’s enough” and that’s exactly how it should be.

Fruits keep your lymphatic system flowing

Another often-overlooked benefit: fruits help keep our lymphatic system moving smoothly. The lymphatic system is essentially our body’s internal drainage network. It transports waste, toxins, and cellular debris away, allowing our blood to stay clean. A well-functioning lymph system relieves the organs, strengthens the immune system, and ensures that our hormonal glands like the adrenals, thyroid, and pineal gland can work optimally. This allows vital hormones to be produced, regulated, and balanced. And all of this comes from a natural food that also happens to taste delicious. So why limit ourselves?!

Beyond lymphatic support, whole fruits and raw vegetables nourish us at the cellular level. Much like the structured, hexagonal water found in living tissues, often referred to as EZ water (exclusion zone water), this natural food matrix supports optimal cellular hydration and helps maintain the delicate architecture of our cell membranes. Isolated supplements simply cannot replicate this living, synergistic environment.

Isolated vitamins?

In contrast, pure ascorbic acid in capsules or tablets are isolated single compounds that don’t exist in this form in nature! Our bodies struggle to recognize and properly metabolize these isolated substances. In some cases, the body even reacts defensively. Because vitamin C is water-soluble, excess amounts are flushed out through the kidneys. And long-term high intake can actually strain the kidneys and contribute to kidney stones!

So what’s the better choice?

It’s simple: choose a large bowl of fresh fruits, berries, and raw vegetables over powders, pills, fizzy drinks or convenience food wit added vitamins and minerals. This way, you’re not just getting vitamin C, you’re receiving a complete, nature-designed package of nutrients that your body actually knows how to use.

Trust what nature provides

So let’s stop fearing what Mother Nature offers in its original form! Instead, let’s become more critical of products that rely on marketing, packaging, and empty promises.
