My Kind Of Summer

My summer this 2026 is fun having in  my own simple way. Though we don’t have much for financing in going out in beaches and my husband is busy with work. I just let myself enjoy watching Japanese Drama the classic which I’ve enjoyed much. There were many Classic Japanese Drama I’ve watched but this one struck me and its all about summer in Japan. It’s all about the beach and the Diamond Head Hotel where the guest usually booked.

I was scrolling with the Netflix app and I click this Japanese series.   It caught my attention because they are talking about summer holiday. This Kaito Suzuki is an elite means he worked in a business firm. And he was talking to his girlfriend planning going for beach vacation and its heading summer.  And he booked himself to the Diamond head hotel. Upon his journey on the train he saw this guy was riding in his car. And he’s watching from afar from the train.  Then he saw the car of the guy Hiromi Sakurai stopped the engine is not working anymore.  Kaito decided to get down from the train and help Hiromi with his car. I want to make the story short.

Kaito was really fond of his vacation in this hotel meeting different people with different story in life. He left his career from Tokyo and decided to live in the Diamond Head as a worker together with Hiromi.  Because he’s not happy with his job in Tokyo. But his Boss trying to convince him to go back because he’s really good to his craft. But Kaito decided already to live in the Diamond head hotel as a crew member.

Take Away From The Series Beach Boys

Sometimes we are hungry to the things we haven’t experienced because we are too focused to the goals in our life. We forget to live we are only existing for the daily requirements of life. For me its not bad to take a break sometimes we need to step out in the straight line and experienced the reality of the world the feelings of others and challenges they faced too, and sometimes we think that the burdens we have is worst until we realized  others have much or lesser burdens than we have. But  in life we have many choices to choose from. Its either we choose the goals of  our parents for us or we choose what we want to do in our career, live simply but happy. At the end is the results what we choose in life when we were still Young and able to do the things we want.

Regrets always come after we decide what we want. But still we must stay firm on what path we choose. Because when we become old and can’t turn back time regrets always coming back to us.

Still Kaito decided to stay at the Diamond head hotel. Though many of his friends asked him after summer what will you do? He just smile and nothing to say.

In my own opinion Kaito hasn’t yet found the stable feeling he has maybe he wants to explore more and choose where to stay.

The end of the story they both leave the Diamond Head hotel start a new life.
