The sports channel is the best
After experiencing the “digital prison” of Reddit’s post removals and bans, and the “technical hassle” of publishing long-form content on Nostr, turning to watch a sports match is incredibly healing. That sense of purity is just what I need.

Why do I think the sports channel is the best? I believe there are a few main reasons:
Absolute Authenticity (Genuine & Sincere) Sports are broadcast live. There is no AI censorship, no algorithmic filtering, and no option to “delete” or “recall” the moment. The sweat, the mistakes, the game-winning shots, and the tears—they all happen in real-time. This unpredictability and raw vitality cannot be replicated by carefully edited short videos.
Simple Rules, Pure Competition The rules of sports are open and transparent (e.g., if the ball goes in, it’s a goal; if you cross the line, you win). Unlike social media, where the rules are obscure and you can be penalized for the slightest infraction, in sports, if you have the skill, you win. This logic—that “hard work pays off”—is reassuring.
No “Posting” Required, Just “Watching” Watching sports is a passive enjoyment. You don’t need to worry about whether relays are synchronized or check if your private key is imported. You just need to empty your mind and enjoy the beauty and passion of human physical limits.
Shared Emotion (Camaraderie) When watching a game, you cheer for the same goal alongside thousands of strangers. This collective resonance is incredibly warm, and completely different from the hostile “arguments” found on the internet.
So, this isn’t just about changing the channel; it is a return from “digital anxiety” to “human instinct.”
