BTC Prague NEw Features & The Future of Play-to-Earn Bitcoin
BTC Prague, New Features & The Future of Play-to-Earn Bitcoin
What a week!
We travelled to BTC Prague to showcase BTC: Proof of Play, meet players face-to-face, connect with builders, and gather feedback from Bitcoiners from around the world.
The response was incredible.
We handed out exclusive stickers, physical legendary cards, event-only in-game skins, and launched a prize draw for community members who stopped by to say hello. More importantly, we had countless conversations about what gaming could look like when Bitcoin is built into the experience from day one.
Building Bitcoin Into Gameplay
Following months of development, testing, and community feedback, we are now actively testing some of our most exciting features yet.
Sats Cache Drops
Players can now discover and collect Bitcoin rewards during matches.
Instead of simply earning points or in-game currency, players have the opportunity to collect real sats while they play. These cache drops appear during gameplay and add an extra layer of excitement to every match.
Bitcoin Tournaments
We’ve also begun testing our tournament system.
Players will be able to enter tournaments, compete against others, climb the leaderboard, and fight for a share of the prize pool.
This has always been part of our long-term vision: creating competitive Bitcoin-powered events directly inside the game.
Play. Compete. Earn. Repeat.
Lightning Integration
Our Lightning infrastructure continues to expand.
We’re testing player rewards, sats distribution, and additional ways to move Bitcoin seamlessly between the game and players. The goal is simple: make earning and using Bitcoin feel natural rather than something bolted on afterwards.
The Bigger Picture
One thing became very clear at BTC Prague.
Many people still don’t realise that we’re building a free-to-play game where players can earn Bitcoin.
Not points. Not tokens. Not some speculative asset.
Actual Bitcoin.
The excitement from players seeing this for the first time reminded us why we’re building BTC: Proof of Play in the first place.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by, tested the game, gave feedback, and shared ideas for future features.
The journey continues, and the next few months are shaping up to be our biggest yet.
Thank you for supporting the project and helping us prove that gaming and Bitcoin belong together.
See you on the battlefield. ⚡
