Wikipedia Bans Use of AI for Writing and Rewriting Articles
Following a vote by its volunteer editors, Wikipedia has updated its policy to prohibit the use of large language models (LLMs) for generating or rewriting article content. The new rule allows AI for basic copy editing and translation, provided it is human-reviewed and does not introduce new content.
