node directions pt. 2
after some troubleshooting my node issues (see https://stacker.news/items/1085900/r/billytheked and https://stacker.news/items/1059299/r/billytheked) have yet gone unresolved
very annoying not being able to access my funds – although i don’t blame anyone besides myself – as i wrote before i am still getting data corruption errors during sync –yes, i already nuked my db – rip…):
not really been able to rule out ram or hd issues – havent really had the time – guess i can do that at a later day
for now – a simple (?) restore from backup to recover funds is all i’m hoping to accomplish – i have a ful copy of my lnd directory complete with channel backups – but yea – doing so requires an up an drunning node – so what are stackers’ recommendations
some of my initial thoughts are —
- hoping to not have to drop too many sats on new hardware – logically speaking my next steps would be replacing the ram and/or hd to see if that is whats wrong
- i can just buy an umbrel/start9 – but sunk cost fallacy is real
- wondering if i can restore from backup on a cloud node like albyhub or rizful
- wondering if i can restore to a mobile wallet like zeus or blixt
right now i just want to get my sats back so i can pay rent
