"THE WOMAN IN THE TOWER CHAPTER 11: WHAT LIES BENEATH."
“As Aamir removed the manhole, Selijuk grabbed ahold of the ladder underneath as he descended into the abyss which was far from being bliss as the rot and the repugnant odour of the dunh forcibly penetrated his two nostrils to the point that he was close to vomiting. As Selijuk steadily climbed down the ladder, Aamir took a hold of the ladder as well. Who wants to be alone in the abyss? And as Aamir was descending Selijuk asked, ‘Aamir, why didn’t you say to Bennard about giving us face masks? The stench is too much. It’s killing me.’ and Aamir responded, ‘Bennard was not in possession of the face masks as we speak and also Bennard preferred for us to not imitate his henchmen lest he faces more danger.’ Selijuk tutted as he signalled his dislike of Bennard and his antics but really Selijuk’s dislike was towards Bennard’s demeanor which was the demeanour of arrogance but a thought was pondered as Selijuk asked, ‘About that woman who attacked Bennard, what was her history with you guys.’ Suddenly Aamir stopped and jumped from the ladder at a high distance. Selijuk was bewildered that not only he jumped from such a high distance but he did it where there was little space to manoeuvre in such a place but Selijuk kept climbing down and as Selijuk reached the ground, Aamir sheathed his where the tiniest corner of his blade, the tip of the sword reached the neck of Selijuk. Selijuk didn’t move but his fear was nowhere to be seen as he stood there like a prisoner gazing on the bars as Aamir said, ‘I’m warning you once, don’t ask about our history with her. She’s been excommunicated by us and she is no longer part of our organisation. We don’t dwell on the history of apostates who have expressed ingratitude towards the creator.’ Selijuk fell silent and after the brief moment of silence when Aamir walked past him Selijuk moved forward. And indeed he moved forward with the opening of the door as he reached the tunnel of the sewers. Filthy, revolting and disgusting are not strange adjectives to describe the sewers a fter all the sewers swallow the impurities that have been extracted from toiletry system via the pipeline management. Aamir turned around to see Selijuk and said, ‘Don’t hesitate and be quick about. If we finish this mission god-willing, I will do ghusl. Residing in a place of fifth nauseates me.’ Selijuk showed no signs of disagreement as he looked both sides of the tunnel to his left and his right, cautious as he was awaiting for an attack from the mysterious man and the woman he saw earlier on. Slow. Cautious. Motion. As steps echoed across the tunnel as Selijuk and Aamir approached the left side of the tunnel with little signature of light at the end but an eerie darkness that enveloped it but the enveloping of darkness did not capture the heart of either Selijuk or Aamir but the seemingly flow of fifth exiting the the pipes which was anal rectum of the system displace other with filth with new filth quite rapidly reminded them of how slow and how sluggish they were being in the sombre sewers whilst the sound of the flowage of flow emited the sound of thousand slithery animals watching its prey. Aamir unsheathed his sword on the right side of his body and grabbed and pointed the tip of the blade towards the abyss. Whilst Selijuk grabbed a hold of his dagger by his right hand and grabbed his shot gun by his left hand and there approached…the man in the suit.”
