A simple Etsy listing title and description formula (free copy)

Etsy shoppers search with specific words. Put them in the first 40 characters of the title, where most views cut off.

Title formula: [What it is] + [material/style] + [who/occasion] + [one extra search word]
Example: “Linen tea towel set, farmhouse kitchen gift, housewarming present, handmade”

Description first two lines: what it is, size, material, and who it is for. Shipping and care details go below.
Example: “A set of 2 linen tea towels, 18x28 in, pre-washed and soft. A practical housewarming gift for anyone who loves a farmhouse kitchen.”

Tags: use all 13, each a phrase a buyer would type, not single words. Mix item, occasion, material and style.
