🌍 Good News of the Day – 6 March 2026
Today’s story comes from medicine and technology.
A surgeon in London successfully performed robotic surgery on a patient located about 2,400 kilometers away in Gibraltar. Using a high-precision surgical robot and a high-speed connection, the doctor controlled the instruments in real time.
The delay between the surgeon’s movements and the robot was only around 0.06 seconds, making the remote procedure possible. The operation, performed on a 62-year-old prostate cancer patient, was successful.
Experts say this breakthrough could transform healthcare in the future. Highly specialized surgeons may be able to operate on patients anywhere in the world, giving people in remote regions access to advanced medical care without traveling long distances.
