Many Hands Make Light Work

Gathering 270,000 supporters for a referendum on an Alberta Pension Plan is a monumental challenge, but we are making progress thanks to the fantastic supporters willing to dedicate their time.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in this collective effort and contributed to our goal of improving Albertans’ future.

If you are interested in giving us a helping hand, here are ways in which you can help that don’t take too much time: 

Download a sign-up sheet from our website or send your family and friends to our sign-up link and gather other supporters.
Follow and like us on our social media pages; we are on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and X, and then share our posts. (see links at bottom of the page)
Promote our events to your friends and family; they are all listed on our website. There are online and in-person events.

If you have more time to spare and are willing to donate a little more time, here are some positions we really would like to fill: 

**Team Lead (Looking for 70-100 across Alberta) ** This volunteer role consists of organizing the volunteers in your assigned area. You will be the first point of contact. You will work with the team of volunteers in your area to hold events and organize activities to gather sign-ups.

Canvassers (Phone and Door-Knocking

This volunteer role is for those who can spend time door-knocking and conducting phone campaigns to gather support for this initiative. Training will be provided.

Event Coordinators

This volunteer role is for those who can help us find venues, organize in-person events, and find opportunities to collaborate with other groups at their events.

Data Entry

This volunteer role will help us maintain our database, including entering forms as they come in and ensuring data integrity. It may also help with contacting people to collect missing information. Training will be provided.

Communications

This volunteer role is diverse. We need people who can write op-eds, help with social media content, create email campaigns, edit videos, and advertise. You don’t need to be able to do all of these things; even one of these items is helpful.
