Ten Minutes With God

Busy seasons crowd out the very time that would steady us. Revelation Shekinah Glory helps people grow closer to the Trinity through practical faith, spiritual growth, meaningful community, and opportunities to serve. This is for people returning to faith after a long season away.

Here are a few practical ideas you can use this week.

End with one small step
Close by asking what one act of kindness, service or obedience you can carry into the day, and write it down.

Write one line
Keep a simple notebook. One sentence of thanks, one sentence of request, and one line from your reading is enough to see a pattern over time.

Pray for one other person
Name one person by name each day. Praying for someone else turns quiet time outward and often changes how we treat them.

Share what you are learning
Tell a friend, spouse or small group one thing you noticed this week. Speaking it out loud helps it take root.

Start with a short passage
Read a few verses rather than a whole chapter. Read them slowly twice, then ask what one word or phrase stood out and why it might matter today.

Leave room for silence
After you pray, sit for a minute without speaking. Quiet is not wasted time; it is often where we finally notice what we have been carrying.

Give yourself grace on missed days
Missing a morning does not break the habit. Simply begin again the next day without guilt; consistency is built by returning, not by perfection.

Choose the same time and place
A habit sticks when it has a home. Pick one chair and one time of day, even if it is only ten minutes, and protect it the way you would protect an appointment with a friend.

If you want help putting this into practice, here is a simple place to start. The Quiet-Time Starter is free from Revelation Shekinah Glory, and you can book a free call with Brett too. It is written to be useful right away, with no cost and no catch.

Picture a notebook filling up, page by page, with what God has been showing you.
