Transcending a poverty mindset.
Farms. People. Resources. Lifestyles.
Transcending a poverty mindset into an abundance mindset.
How rooted I once was amidst an outlook on life which shed no light upon the power of the self when divinely connect to Mother Earth and Father Sky. How rancid and foul must I have smelt to the Gods. Putrid and smelly of greed, fear, lust, ignorance, distrust, self-harm, arrogance…
For it all seems different now. Radically different, having spent this time on the farm in this place and time. Connecting to folks - the farm folks and those alike. Greed turns to gratitude. Self centeredness to servitude. Self hate to self love. Envy to empathy. Forcefulness to grace. All of these transformations taking place…
It seems easier to see - these things - when experiencing through natural-experiential living. That is, when working, living and being in harmony to our Earth and Sky, the Cycles and Rhythms - ones of a greater Nature than the mere ‘I’ we so often refer to when relating to the outer world and our society. These things seems easier to notice when we shift into ‘eco’ mode rather than ‘ego’ mode.
I am but an instrument through which God plays a tune, a song, a melody. Nothing more, nothing less.
“Well, that’s quite a notion, isn’t it?”. Yes, indeed.
Our vain desires of personal wealth, gain, satisfaction and security are no match to what the greater beings have set out for our soul path. So goes the quote, “Man plans, God laughs”.
Mustn’t we take into account the context of our unique incarnation? Mustn’t we take into account the context of our time as a society? Mustn’t we realize and recognize that we are but a single drop of water amidst an ocean? Mustn’t we realize and recognize we are also the entire ocean within a single drop of water? Humbling.
Humbling.
If we are not yet humble to accept ourselves for who we are and what we are meant to do, life surely, will provide an opportunity for us to accept these things. Is that poking at your brain yet?
Abundance… Power… the greater mysteries surely inherit these qualities.
Mustn’t we realize that as we too are made of the very mysteries that are themselves abundant and powerful? Mustn’t we awaken to this notion that we are made in the image of God? The Universe? The Cosmos? The Higher Power? The All? The One?
Maybe these wonderings can bring about a shift in our consciousness to remedy an impoverished mind and outlook of oneself. A vital remedy.
Is it true, that, abundance and poverty are equal possible realities to operate from?
If so, what is the critical factor that allows one to manifest over the other?
Could it be our actions, thought patterns, beliefs? We may wonder ~
The mystery lives on…
