The Federal Police have indicted 48 individuals, including former INSS presidents and a former minister under Jair Bolsonaro, in connection with a scheme involving illegal deductions from pensions and benefits. The investigation, part of Operation Sem Desconto, alleges that the group, linked to the National Confederation of Family Farmers (Conafer), may have moved R$ 6.3 billion through these fraudulent activities between 2019 and 2024.
