Bell 0.10.0: New per-post controls and public spam reports

Bell 0.10.0 puts Reply, React, Read and More on every post. The More menu holds moderation and utility actions, including public spam reports and local hiding of a single post, with an explicit choice of signing account. Long posts now start collapsed.

Each post now has four controls: Reply, React, Read and More. The labelled More menu holds Hide post, Block user publicly, Report spam publicly, Silence conversation, Copy note ID and Send as chosen profile. The redundant sender glyph is gone, and the recipient’s generic glyph becomes their initial or photo when available.

You choose the signing account explicitly. The picker shows each profile name, or a shortened public key, and marks watch-only accounts, which cannot sign. Block user publicly still uses your NIP-51 mute list. Report spam publicly is new: it sends a NIP-56 kind 1984 report linking the post and author. Both are marked public and need confirmation. Bell won’t sign a duplicate of a pending or acknowledged report; unknown-status reports stay reviewable. Reports don’t remove content from Nostr or guarantee relay action.

Hide post is local: it hides one post in every account view on this device, including after refetch and restart. Nothing is deleted from relays. Undo it immediately or restore it from Settings. Signed history and conversation context stay intact, new live replies still show, and restoring sends no notification.

Long posts start collapsed at eight lines, with expand and collapse beside the header; the choice survives screen recreation.

Known limitation: Tab and Shift+Tab can stay trapped in inline media; touch works.
