Bell 0.15.0: Choose which account answers
Some accounts exist only to receive replies. Bell 0.15.0 adds a setting for that, and it makes copied note IDs useful in other clients.
Respond as
Until now, Bell suggested the account that received a post whenever you replied or reacted to it. That suits most people. If an account is only an inbox and you always answer from a different one, it meant picking the other account by hand every time.
Settings now has a Respond as section when Bell has more than one account. Each receiving account is listed with Same account as its default. Tap it and choose a connected account to answer instead. From then on, notification Reply, the reaction button on the notification and the reply composer all start with that account.
The choice is a default. You can still switch the sending account in the composer before you send, and that choice wins for that reply. Only accounts connected through Amber can be chosen, because watch-only accounts cannot sign. If the chosen account is later removed or loses its signer, Settings marks it unavailable and Bell goes back to the account that received the post.
Copy note ID
Copy note ID used to copy a bare note1 identifier. It now copies a nostr: link in nevent form, which also carries the author, the event kind and up to three relays where Bell saw the post. Other clients can open the exact post even when it lives outside their usual relays.
Only public wss relays are included. Local mirrors, onion addresses and reserved test hosts are left out, so a copied link does not reveal private infrastructure.
