Singapore - the Lion City - is a favourite destination for Indian travellers. Whether visiting for tourism, business, or to connect with family, Singapore offers world-class attractions, shopping, and cuisine. As of 2026, Indian citizens require a visa to enter Singapore.
Visa Categories
The Singapore Tourist Visa (Social Visit Pass) allows a stay of up to 30 days and is generally valid for multiple entries within 5 weeks. For frequent travellers, a Multiple Journey Visa (MJV) valid for up to 2 years may be available based on your travel history. A Business Visit Visa covers meetings and conferences - paid work is not allowed.
2026 Application Process
Individual applicants cannot submit directly to the High Commission of Singapore. Applications must be submitted through authorized visa agents or by a local Singaporean sponsor. Most Indian travellers use authorized agents listed on the High Commission website.
Document Checklist
Valid passport with at least 6 months validity. Completed visa application form (Form 14A). Recent photograph (white background, 35mm x 45mm). Confirmed return flight booking. Hotel reservation. Bank statements for the last 3 months. Income tax returns for the last 2 years. Employment letter. Covering letter explaining travel purpose.
Fees and Processing
The visa processing fee is approximately 30 SGD (1,800 INR), plus agent service fees of 1,000-2,500 INR. Processing takes 3 to 5 working days. The visa is issued electronically as an e-Visa. Print it and carry it with your passport during travel.
Entry Requirements
On arrival, Indian passport holders must complete the Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) online within 3 days before arrival. You also need to show your e-Visa, return flight ticket, and proof of sufficient funds (at least 1,000-2,000 SGD).
