This documentary was born from the discovery that almost no other question opens a conversation about money as effectively as this one.
It’s all build around a simple question.
A question people can’t ignore
When people are asked why prices keep rising, something interesting happens.
They stop, they hesitate, they realize their answers don’t fully make sense.
Technology improves every year. Productivity increases. Information flows faster. And yet, everyday life keeps getting more expensive. Groceries, rent, healthcare, education. The contradiction is felt intuitively, even by people who have never thought deeply about economics.
That discomfort is important. It signals that something is wrong.
Inspired by the ideas popularized in The Price of Tomorrow by @83e81...d964b , this project starts from the premise that the problem is not personal, political, or temporary. It is monetary problem.
But the film does not begin with theory, it begins with listening.
Ordinary people, ordinary places
This documentary is built around real conversations with ordinary people, in ordinary settings.
This documentary will be recorded in brazilians streets, supermarkets. cafés, restaurants, beaches, offices, and more places
The key element, there is no scripts, no preaching, no jargon.
Just the question, sometimes with small variations, and people thinking out loud.
Again and again, the same pattern appears. Before any explanation is offered, people already feel that something does not add up. That moment, when intuition collides with lived experience, is where understanding begins.
Explaining the problem, not selling a solution
From these answers, an explanation can be introduced naturally.
Prices keep rising not because technology failed, not because people suddenly became greedier, not because of isolated political decisions.
They rise because money itself keeps losing value.
When more units of money are created continuously by a small group of decision-makers, every existing unit is diluted. The result is invisible theft over time, felt most clearly by those who live closest to the margin.
Bitcoin is not the opening statement of this film, it may appear later, organically.
Once people recognize monetary debasement as the root problem, the need for a non-expandable, honest monetary system becomes obvious on its own, without persuasion.
Capturing the moment where truth surfaces
The purpose of this documentary is twofold.
First, to capture that precise moment when people realize that rising prices are not an accident, but a feature of the system.
Second, to show Bitcoiners that meaningful conversations do not require technical explanations or ideological battles. A single, well-chosen question can do more than hours of debate.
After each filmed conversation, participants receive a simple card directing them to:
The site offers a clear, structured educational journey. Anyone who felt unsettled or curious by the question can explore the monetary mechanism behind rising prices at their own pace, without pressure.
A pilot with global ambitions
This first film is a pilot.
It will be filmed in Brazil, recorded in Portuguese, and released with English subtitles. Brazil is the starting point because the effects of monetary debasement are deeply felt in everyday life.
But the question itself is universal.
The long-term vision is a continuing documentary series, replicated across countries, cultures, and continents. The format remains the same. Only the setting changes.
Wherever people use money, the question works.
About the project lead
The project is led by an independent educator whose work focuses on helping people understand the monetary problem before introducing Bitcoin as a solution.
The founder previously grew a personal YouTube channel to over 120,000 subscribers, with individual videos surpassing 800,000 views. During the pandemic, the channel, which focused on natural health education, was shadow-banned and is currently inactive.
Reviving that channel in the future as a platform dedicated to economics and Bitcoin education is part of the broader vision behind this documentary.
Why this matters
Bitcoin adoption does not start with software, it starts with awareness.
This documentary is about creating the first crack in a story people have been told their entire lives, through a question that affects everyone, everywhere.
Sometimes, the most powerful tool is not an answer, but the right question.
How can you contribute?
