OSCARS IN THE BATHROOM, KITCHEN, IN A DRAWER... Hollywood stars shocked with admissions

OSCARS IN THE BATHROOM, KITCHEN, IN A DRAWER… Hollywood stars shocked with admissions Many past Oscar winners have revealed surprising locations for their statuettes, moving away from traditional display spots. Some store them in bathrooms, refrigerators, or even give them to family members, finding the awards too unusual for prominent display. Others keep them in more conventional, though sometimes quirky, locations like living rooms or alongside other awards.

• Emma Thompson keeps her Oscars in the bathroom, finding they look too unusual elsewhere and allow people to play with them privately.
• Emma Stone gave her Oscar for ‘La La Land’ to her mother, finding it ‘a little strange’ to have it in her own home.
• Reese Witherspoon keeps her Oscar in her living room, though she considered turning it into jewelry or a doorknob.
• Goldie Hawn stores her Oscar in her meditation room.
• Dustin Hoffman keeps his two Oscars in his study, next to his six Golden Globes.
• Jamie Foxx has his manager keep his Oscar due to overcrowding at his house.
• Jennifer Hudson allows people to take pictures with her Oscar but not touch it.
• Timothy Hutton’s Oscar is kept in the refrigerator as a prank.
• Kevin Costner, who previously kept his Oscars in a sock drawer, now displays them in his screening room.
