Reviewing Articles: Lust can’t be lectured [ARCHIVE]

By the Spectator

Hello. I have decided that alongside writing articles (like what I’m doing right now) I will also be reviewing articles, not just on JudeStack but on many other platforms. I will go through the article and in the end give my honest verdict.

Lust can’t be lectured | The Spectator

A lovely, intelligent female acquaintance, roughly my own age, keeps telling me to grow up and date women roughly my own age. And she has a point. If I dated women of my cohort, we could discuss the fall of the Berlin Wall, the genius of the first R.E.M. album, and agree that in those days it was easier to get off a sofa. But life, as always, isn’t simple. As I say to my female friend: “I wish I could. But my loins, when they are functional, have different ideas.”**

Immediately, I am hooked. Let’s see what he says next.

And I really do wish I fancied women my age. It’s a seller’s market for sane and solvent men with their own hair, or so I am told. Unfortunately, while my knees are almost ready for their pension, my libido still reckons it can get into a nightclub. In other words, I can admire a woman’s intelligence, enjoy her wise and funny stories, and then wish to God I wanted to see her in tight fitting jeans, but I do not.**

Actually, I don’t care about this part, because the paragraph below it made me chuckle so I could not resist making this article. In fact, it’s the only reason I have decided to make this article in the first place, since it got a lot of attention on Xitter. It’s pretty divided: one side calls this guy creepy, the other side says it is good journalism.

Which brings us to Sadie Sink. Once a child star in Stranger Things, she is now fronting Calvin Klein’s new jeans campaign: she’s 24, slender, redheaded, and she’s so delicately pale she looks like a Pre-Raphaelite nymph at the end of a Narnian winter. In the ad, a kitchen faucet loses control at the sight of her and a slice of toast orgasmically hurls itself into the air. I empathize with the fixtures.**

You have never seen a man describe a woman with this much prose and zero self-awareness. It is the kind of writing that leaves you suspended between two equally valid reactions: laughing at the sheer try hard horniness of it, or staring at the author and saying, without irony, “you are one creepy bastard.”

Or you could say “God forbid that someone has a preference to redheads”.

The author probably made this article with one hand.

Finally we approach the most awkward criterion of all. “White.” Or, more precisely, “fair.” Sadie Sink’s snowy skin is, if I am honest, part of what I find beautiful, along with her red hair. I could pretend otherwise, but I am not sure who benefits from my lying about a ginger.**

I like this part for his honesty. Just a straightforward admission that the “pale” redhead does it for him.

Though the “fair” part is something I don’t like. I’ve never heard anyone call white people “fair-skinned”. Using “fair” softens the statement just enough so it sounds more polite while still saying the same thing.

The thing is, the person who made the article has a wife. I wonder what she thinks when she reads “Lust can’t be lectured”.

Contrary to everyone else, I do not like Sadie. You think I have forgotten about that mudshark scene in Stranger Things? Eye Terroriser!

Verdict:

2.5 stars out of 5

Now that I think about it, I’m not sure why I have decided to review this article. Next one will be about the Shittergraph and how supposedly the SAS are training the mega evil RuZZkies to fight Ukrainians.
